Outdoor Fall Pregnancy Announcement in Erie Pa
This sweet family reached out to document and welcome their second addition! Jacob and Rachael were newer to the area, having moved from Eastern Pa to Erie County not long before and were searching for a photographer to capture their fall pregnancy announcement to share with family & friends back home. We were so honored that they entrusted us with this monumental milestone in their family journey. Unfortunately, it was already very late in the fall season so we knew going into this that an outdoor session meant a lack of foliage on the trees. Luckily, we had the perfect location in mind for these photos to still show off the glory of nature.
We met at Fisherman’s Beach in North East, Pa for this outdoor fall pregnancy announcement photo shoot. The park boasts paved walking trails, lots of gorgeous wooded areas, a beautiful old willow tree, creekside access and a beach. Many of our clients want to document their milestones with photos right on Lake Erie. So this location provides a setting with options for almost every outdoor enthusiast. Jacob & Rachael were no different. Lake Erie is world famous as one of the Great Lakes in the U.S. Not many other communities can showcase such a natural wonder.
We were also lucky on the day of this outdoor fall pregnancy announcement shoot. The day was bright and sunny. Right off the bat this excited me as I was able to get some ‘sun flare’ shots. Sun flares are one of my favorite artistic elements to capture in photos. For the position we were in and the setting I felt these glorious green little dots added to the warm feeling of the sun shining down on us. We walked along the main path through the manicured lawn towards the beach, stopping on the way for some cute photos. Rachael & Jacob brought a few props with them such as a sign board and their sonogram photos. We captured photos of the love between the two of them AND some with their adorable little girl who would soon be a big sister!
The creekside walking path offered a more woodsy feel for this fall pregnancy session so we made sure to stop there as well. The fall leaves still covered the ground as we hadn’t experienced a snow fall yet for the season.
We really enjoyed meeting this sweet family and documenting this milestone in their journey as their family of three becomes a family of four! Congratulations on your new addition Jacob & Rachael.
