Senior Pictures at Presque Isle - DJ's Story
We book DJ’s Senior pictures at Presque Isle because I knew his mom…from graduating together…a few years ago. This McDowell Class of 2020 Graduate was very easy going with his session and really, he was doing it for the love of his mom and grandma. So, he didn’t mind when mom chose Presque Isle as the location for his session.
We met up at Perry Monument at the tip of Presque Isle right near Misery Bay and took some of the initial photos right at the historic monument. There are also some nice bench seats and placards explaining the historical location that were fun to shoot at. It was summer time so this cool kid had a pair of sunglasses with him that we were more than happy to use as props.
After taking full advantage of the area surrounding Perry Monument for these Senior Pictures at Presque Isle we made the decision to hop over to the Lighthouse on the outer side of the peninsula for some pretty epic photos. The sky was absolutely stunning that day and the blend of colors against the neutral sand was perfect. DJ climbed up the small beach cliff so we took some powerful overview shots of him with the lighthouse in the background.
The sunset looked promising and Lake Erie is known for having the second best sunsets in the world so we stuck around. Before the sun sank low in the sky DJ took a stroll on the beach to end his Senior Pictures on Presque Isle and we captured some nice memories for him.
