Winter Newborn Photos in Erie Pa
First child, Samuel arrived in the frosty month of January. New parents, Matt & Susan, were so excited to welcome their new addition. We were excited to be a part of their winter newborn photos. These photos were actually captured at our home as Matt & Susan are both team members! That made matters easy as we were able to utilize many of the items we already had on hand without having to pick and choose what we’d take with us. We did make one small purchase, a little wooden letter “S” for Samuel.
Baby Samuel decided that these winter newborn photos were far to exciting to sleep through, so he graced us with his inquisitive gaze most of the time. We managed to get him wrapped in a blanket and calmed to sleep for only a few minutes. Just long enough for mom and dad to get some family photos with him. Matt and Susan weren’t very particular with any color scheme so we went with a very neutral cream for these winter newborn photos. It was in stark contrast to the vivid colors in the couple’s Dreamy Fall Maternity Photos. The only pop of color we used was a colorful buffalo plaid blanket that we keep on hand for holiday photos. We hadn’t put it away after being used for our Christmas Minis only a few weeks prior.
Because Samuel is an honorary member of the Willow & Roots team, I believe his winter newborn photos will not be his only time in front of the camera. We have a feeling that Samuel will become a valuable model for many photo shoots in the future. We can’t wait to capture that adorable face as he grows and changes.
