Senior Photoshoot at the Lake - Cam's Story
Growing up in North East, Pa, one of Cam’s favorite spots to hang out is Fisherman’s Beach. It’s one of the more popular spots for family’s looking to enjoy the beauty of Lake Erie. That’s why Cam chose to do his senior photoshoot at the Lake. Cam is a Class of 2024 Senior at North East High School. He’s very involved in sports, especially basketball. In fact, his large family of 5 boys are all involved in basketball. This rowdy and fun loving group of guys is always involved in some fun, activity.
Cam has a nice, easy going personality and a polite manner. Because we live in a small tight-knit community I’d been blessed to know Cam since he was about 8 years old. So, taking his Senior Photoshoot at the Lake was a huge honor! I was really excited when his mom, Jackie, reached out to book this momentous occasion. I went over the Best Senior Guy Outfit Tips with Jackie and she passed the info onto Cam. He showed up in a casual, but perfect button up tailored shirt that screamed relaxed but looking good. It was a great “parent pleaser” outfit for his senior photoshoot at the lake. The breeze on the lake in the summer can be refreshing, but the sun still warms you quite a bit, so I was pleased that Cam played it safe in such a relaxing outfit. He also chose slip on shoes which made walking in the water a quick option. For a few shots I asked him to walk along the lake and contemplate his future. I love the walking photos. They’re always a nice addition to the gallery. The sky was pretty hazy that day. It happens frequently on muggier days so I added a pop of drama into the skies during the editing process.
After we finished up on the beach Cam threw on his favorite hoodie to wrap up this senior photoshoot on the Lake. The red storage barn in Fisherman’s Beach Park was an ideal backdrop for Cam’s second more casual outfit. The neutral colors looked nice against the cheery, vivid color of the barn. Cam’s easy smile was the highlight of our session together. I really enjoyed working with him and Jackie to capture these memories. Best of luck on your senior year Cam!
