Spring Senior Photos at Mercyhurst - Persie's Story
Our Erie City High School Class of 2023 Senior Rep, Persie, chose to do her Spring Senior Photos at Mercyhurst University after learning that’s where she’ll be attending in the fall for the De’Angelo School of Music. As always, Persie showed up dressed in her unique stylish way that perfectly showcases her personality. Persie was all smiles as we walked the campus documenting this epic chapter in her journey. I had attended Mercyhurst myself so I was excited that Persie had selected this university to launch her into adulthood.
We decided to take some photos next to the university’s sign in front of Old Main and then took a stroll over to the bell on campus which many a graduate has rung to celebrate. After that we noticed a really cute spot with a little bridge and some stairs which were PERFECT for stopping for some more photos. And that’s where I got some of my favorites from these senior photos at Mercyhurst. It gave me the perfect opportunity to have Persie lay back and take a unique perspective that I haven’t had the chance to capture yet.
It was then that Persie noticed a gorgeous little nook with ivy covered stone walls and some benches. I can imagine that on a warm day our Senior Rep will find herself reading or chatting with friends. From there Persie wanted to show me the building she’d be spending most of her time in. As we walked we passed the most beautiful tree full of bright pink blossoms. We had to stop for some photos. I’m sure it’s another location we’ll be able to find Persie in between classes.
We also found a gazebo during these senior photos at Mercyhurst that made a nice backdrop for Persie’s spring session. We had a great time visiting her future school and I wish her all the best on her experience there.
