Spooky Senior Photoshoot - Alex's Story
Alex, a soon to be graduate of Corry Area High School in rural Pa, is a senior with a unique personality and our team wanted to make sure we really captured it. That’s why, when she asked us for a spooky senior photoshoot we picked exactly the perfect location. We found an old cemetery with headstones going back into the mid 1800’s built on a shady hill on the outskirts of North East, Pa. We met with Alex at dusk for her spooky senior photoshoot to make the experience even creepier.
We started with Alex in a regular summer outfit wandering into the cemetery to explore, and then as the light began to fall she changed into a black formal dress and let her hair down for the illusion of a ghostly girl.
We brought along a comfortable white blanket as the dew was already collecting on the grass. Alex’s friend tagged along and used a sparkler to provide us a foggy effect for her spooky senior photoshoot, but we decided later to add a little more for a deeper effect. We also edited the images in an old fashioned black and white to give the illusion of an old plate image.
