Urban Senior Photos in North East - Austin's Story
This local football star and North East High School Class of 2020 graduate, Austin, did not have a lot of free time in his life to do a full session for Senior Photos in North East, Pa so we met up with him for a senior mini session in downtown North East in between practice and work. One of the more popular teen hangout spots is Heard Park. It’s close to the school district and on the way to most high school student’s local jobs.
You may only be familiar with Heard Park as the location of one of Erie County’s most popular summer festivals, Cherry Festival! Every summer during July, the local Fire Departments, Fuller Hose and Crescent Hose host the Cherry Festival as their biggest fundraiser of the year. Both fire departments have faithfully served North East, Pa since 1885.
Heard park as some nice foliage, a brick stage and park benches. So, we used those for some of his photos. I brought along a football with 2020 marked on as a prop. After we used the park for as many spots as we could we took a few nostalgic senior photos in North East just across the street at what used to be the high school. It now serves as a retirement home.
We had just enough time to take a short walk over to the old town hall which features a blue door on the old red brick building and then we headed a block over to North East’s famous little alley way that’s decorated with murals of grapes and cafe lights.
This was one of our very first Senior Sessions and it was a nice experience with Austin who is a very polite young man.
