Senior Photos on the Beach - Cass's Story
Cass is a 2020 Graduate of North East High School. She is very active in Marching Band and loves her dogs. In fact, she works training assistance dogs. Because of her love for her puppies, two of the family dogs joined Cass during her Senior Photos on the Beach.
We actually started our session by meeting Cass and her mom (and the puppies) at her favorite childhood spot in town, the old swimming hole. There’s a local creek running down to Lake Erie where many a child and teen have gotten their feet wet in the hot weather. Cass wanted to take some photos at the waterfall in the creek before moving onto Shades Beach in Harborcreek for more photos. The family’s elder dog was more than happy to cuddle with Cass in the cool water of the creek and escape the heat of the muggy July day.
After taking full advantage of the creek with it’s sparkling waterfall and cool, refreshing water we hopped in the car and drove about 10 minutes to the only public beach in Harborcreek, the next town over. Shades Beach is a popular spot for Senior Photos on the Beach, but we were lucky to hit it in the evening when it’s mostly couples out for a walk with their own pets who are waiting to enjoy the sunset. Because of the humidity we knew we wouldn’t have the advantage of one of Erie’s breathtakingly famous sunsets. So, we enjoyed a bit of a cool breeze as the evening wound down and wrapped up our session before the sun fell.
