Senior Photoshoot at a Car Show - Lexie's Story
This Class of 2021 Iroquois High School Grad, Lexie, met up with us on a fantastic weekend! We were able to do her senior photoshoot at a car show! The antique cars were the perfect backdrop for this extraordinary senior session. We started in Gibson Park in downtown North East where the antique car show was taking place. We asked permission of a few of the car enthusiasts before photographing any of their vehicles. We discovered one pale blue car from the 1960’s that paired perfectly with Lexie’s outfit.
After the senior photoshoot at a car show, we felt we weren’t quite done. Lexie brought her Cheerleading uniform with her from Iroquois High School so we walked across the street to Heard Park, which was quiet and pleasant after the hustle and bustle at the car show. Lexie changed into her cheerleading gear and we captured some images on the cheery red brick stage in the center of the park before asking Lexie to show of her skill for a few photos. She was more than happy to do a little cheering for us.
The night was getting late and dusk was starting to fall at that point. Lexie had one more outfit with her, a formal burgundy colored dress. After she changed we talked about the outfit and decided to walk back across the street to Granite Ridge, a historical landmark in North East, Pa. The old buildings made of strong granite were the ideal backdrop for this formal outfit. We took advantage of some of the summer foliage and with dark quickly approaching decided to make one last pitstop before we were finished with this senior photoshoot at a car show.
We hightailed it back across Gibson park and over to one of the most iconic spots in downtown North East, the small alley off of South Lake Street. This alley features grape murals and cafe lighting strung up between old buildings. We grabbed a few quick photos in the alley before saying good night to Lexie.
We were so honored to capture this chapter of Lexie’s journey and we hope to see her in the future as she continues her adventures.
