Senior Portraits in the Park - Skylar's Story
This sweet North East High Class of 2021 Graduate chose to do her senior portraits in the park down at Fisherman’s Beach in North East, Pa. Fisherman’s Beach is a popular local spot for dog walkers, and families looking for a relaxing day at the beach. The park features a walking path, stately old trees, a large lawn, access to the creek and Lake Erie’s beach.
Skylar is a quiet, shy young lady who enjoys reading. She has a giggle that can light up a room and has a very gentle way about her. We first met Skylar when her mom and stepdad were planning to say their vows and they connected with our team while seeking a wedding photographer. The next year when Skylar was ready to enjoy her senior year, they reached out to us to capture those photos.
We met at the front of the park to take advantage of my favorite tree in the park, the old Willow. I knew these senior portraits in the park would be relaxing and fun. After capturing some fun images near the willow we walked down closer to the beach to use the cheery, red storage barn as a backdrop because it complimented Skylar’s outfit.
We ended the session on the beach with some photos of Skylar doing what she loves best during her senior portraits in the park, reading a novel. Skylar’s mom, Vicki, made sure to email us a cute photo of
Skylar as a young girl so our photographer, Tommy, made sure to capture an image of her holding her cell phone up. He later used photo shop to add the younger image of Skylar into the photo.
We had a pleasant afternoon with Skylar and we’re so honored to have captured these images for her. We wish her the best on all her future adventures.
